Fulbright Teacher Exchange Award Announcement

Cassie Owens Moore, our devoted school librarian at Seneca Middle School, has received a Fulbright Teacher Exchange award for the 2026-2027 cycle from the U.S. Department of State. A highly-competitive and distinguished honor, Ms. Owens Moore will conduct international research and serve as a national ambassador abroad for American education and lead an exchange in cutting-edge educational practices with her international peers. Our district congratulates Ms. Owens Moore on this tremendous accomplishment and we are excited to have her represent not only our outstanding team of SDOC educators, but all educators across South Carolina and the nation.
